Nestled in the heart of the Livradois-Forez Regional Natural Park, "Claire's Room" is situated in a family farm dating back to the early 18th century. This place, simple and
authentic, is ideal for those seeking tranquility away from urban hustle and bustle.
Surrounded by greenery, the house has a spacious garden, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploration. If you wish, you can also try the traditional Finnish bath located outside (service at an additional cost).
The room, spanning 20m2, blends tradition and functionality. Tinted plaster walls and terracotta floors hark back to the building's history. It is equipped with a comfortable 160 cm double bed, cable television, and a courtesy tray for your moments of relaxation. Adjacent to the room, a convenient bathroom with a shower is at your disposal.
To start the day right, we offer, upon request, a continental breakfast at 9€ per person.

Location
In the heart of nature, our house combines serenity and proximity to essential amenities. Just a 5-minute drive away, discover the village of Sauxillanges, offering a range of practical shops. Here, you'll find local products, several bakeries, restaurants celebrating the regional cuisine, a press house, a pharmacy, a gas station, and a small supermarket for your daily needs.
In terms of leisure, Sauxillanges is well-equipped with a swimming pool open during the summer and tennis courts for sports enthusiasts. Our house is ideally located between Usson, known for its charm, and the Cluniac heritage of Sauxillanges. For walking enthusiasts, "Claire's Trail" is a highlight: it starts at our doorstep and provides a beautiful hike between these two points of interest.
The surroundings are conducive to a variety of activities. You can explore the local culture, enjoy mountain biking, try electric scooters, or discover nearby equestrian centers. And for those who love mountainous landscapes, there are the reliefs of Livradois and the Sancy area, dominated by the Chain of Puys, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Staying with us is above all an immersion in the simplicity and beauty of rural life.
